I've heard that you are a big believer in training by power and heart rate and with proper nutrition. What does this mean?
Yes, I am a great believer in structured workouts which are determined by a mixture of heart rate zones/power ones/ and Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE).
I train with power/watts in cycling (which is quite common) and also in running (which is very uncommon)
In running I recommend you purchase a Garmin running/tri watch with chest strap heart rate monitor.
I am a massive believer in "Less is More" when it comes to exercise and most of the training is done @ a very low intensity. The benefits of training like this are incomparable to any other methods and I promote health, wellness, longevity, and most important of all, ENJOYMENT, when it comes to exercise. The paradox of this is that you will be in the peak shape of your life and will be knocking out PB's which will shock you.
I welcome everyone, from absolute beginners to elite athletes.
